Welcome to our website!
Salford Table Tennis Club provides for the many table tennis players (and aspiring players!) in the City of Salford and the surrounding areas.
We welcome players of all age groups and standards, from the long-time-lapsed-and-rusty, to the seriously competitive. If you think of yourself as a 'complete beginner' or might be interested taking advantage of junior coaching sessions, then either give Geoff a ring on 0780 223 5986 or drop us an email using our "Contact Us" form to let us know.
Coaching & Practice Nights are held every Friday evening at Beesley Green Community Centre. A Junior session runs from 6.30pm until 7.30pm, followed by an adult session run from 7.30pm until 9.30pm.
If you're planning to come along for the first time then it might be a good idea to either give Geoff a ring (on 0780 223 5986) or drop us an email using our "Contact Us" form, just to make sure things are running as normal.
What will it cost me?
Our aim is to keep charges to a minimum, so as to make the Club as accessible as possible. With that in mind, we've set membership of the Club at just £10/year (to cover the cost of insurance & affilliation fees, etc.) together with a charge of just £4 (£2 for juniors) on practice/coaching nights to cover the room-hire charges, etc.
What if I'm interested in joining, or just want more information?
Simple! Either give Geoff a ring on 0780 223 5986 or drop us an email using our "Contact Us" form to send us your details. It's as easy as that! You might also like to sign-up for our free newsletter.
Will you be organising regular competitive table tennis?
Of course. As we get more established, we'll run internal ladder-type competitions, and will enter teams in 'outside' competitions for those members who want to commit to playing on a regular basis.
What about insurance and similar things?
You can rest assured that - unlike some clubs - we already have full Public Liability Insurance in-place. Naturally, our coaches are all fully ETTA-qualified and, for junior instruction, all coaches are fully CRB-checked.
We're also serious about maintaining high standards and, to help us in that, we've applied for affilliation to the LCTTA and also already started working towards achieving Premier Club Status (which is the ETTA's implimentation of Sport England's 'Clubmark' scheme).
